KA5WNX TV Antennas Explained

I provide you with the formulas and basic designs behind TV antennas so you can build your own, or just know enough to keep from being ripped off by a fly-by-night design.  I also refer you to another builder to watch their how-to videos. Very educational, formulas are provided throughout the video.

Here I describe to you how TV antennas and all antennas are designed though the use of basic formulas using frequencies in megahertz.  For example a quarter wave is 234/f *12 = the length in inches.  Spacing would be like 246/f *12 = spacing between elements and 492/f*12= the reflector element.  All of this is covered in detail on how the antenna is created.
